Performed a Chinese New Year-themed jazz concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York
Lead fusion band(Jazz quartet + string quartet” titled “Jazzical” to numerous concert halls in China.

Invited to perform in JZ Jazz Festival with NOMADS fusion band.
Became newest and youngest member of the Backun Musical sponsored artist, Clarinet.
Toured with Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, as interpreter and guest clarinetist, and performed with Wynton Marsalis.
Toured with his band Nextgen Jazz Quartet in China, they performed in ‘Shenzhen International Clarinet Festival’, also won second price on ‘Hengqin Cup’ international jazz competition’ in Zhuhai (Group and Solo both second prize).
Ye Huang released his first Fusion Jazz Album with his band Nextgen Jazz Quartet, entitled “Starlight”. It has 12 songs and features 4 of Ye’s original compositions.

Selected as the finalist in Backun International Clarinet Competition 2017 (classical).
China tour with trumpeter Arturo Sandoval. He continued to perform with the bands in Blue Notes in New York twice.
Ye served as guest clarinetist and interpreter for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Eurasia tour in China. He also shared the stage with trumpeter and educator Wynton Marsalis.
2016
Admitted to New England Conservatory for jazz performance major
Toured China with clarinetist Eddie Daniels
In 2016 Charles Mingus Big band competition, with Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra, won the first place.
Graduated from LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts. Received "Creative Music" and "A&F William Feinberg Music Award"
Ye Huang was one of the directors and performers who organized a tribute to Martin Luther King concert, and twice interviewed by the United States ABC television.
2015
Organized the first jazz tour with several elite American Jazz musician, Bryan Carter, Emmet Cohen, Alex Claffy. They formed the "New York Youngster Jazz Quartet,” and toured of all over China in summer.
Ye composed and premiered the "Ye Huang's Suite,” seven movements of his work at the Juilliard Morse Hall, and recorded in the Juilliard School of Music.
